The weekend before Thanksgiving my mom, sister, and I headed up to Minnesota to visit my Dad, who is working up there temporarily. We flew into Minneapolis and stayed three days (across the street from the Mall of America!!!).
Sunday Dad took us to Cannon Falls to see the town where he has been living. The 40 minute drive through the countryside was possibly my favorite part of the trip. I am such an adventurer, and this was part of the country I had never seen. Driving through rural Minnesota, I felt like I truly saw America – rolling hills of empty crop land, big red barns with paint peeling off the sides, and shiny silos filled with a year’s supply of corn. This is what America was built on right? Hard work, dedication, and land… for days. I was in awe.
Here’s what I saw in Minnesota:
These are awesome! Makes me want to go! But the two of your parents are my favorite. They are precious!
These are beautiful! Your mother looks absolutely stunning in these photos. I love the one of the waterfall.
You did a beautiful job capturing the beauty of Minnesota! Can’t pick a favorite!
Carolyn these are awesome pictures! love them….
These are so great. All of the colors are so alive. The snowy evergreens are my favorite. Also, I might argue that winter bundles make any couple look extra cute but SLPDA and her boo? Come on. Too much.
Another virtual high five, friend.
Beautiful pictures ! Such talent Caroline !
