Meet Kaitlyn.

Kaitlyn is a dear friend of mine who I’ve known since high school, but didn’t become friends with until college. Kaitlyn is a true Southern Belle. She has big gorgeous hair, a slow drawl (especially when she talks about “Mamma”), and a love for sweet white wine. She’s tall, but not afraid of heels, and totally understands the importance of a good jean jacket.

I have been so grateful for Katilyn’s friendship over the past two years. She has been a constant encourager and supporter of me and my photography career, and has kept me accountable for a number of things when I’ve needed a firm reminder. Kaitlyn is also one of the most passionate, dedicated individuals I have ever met. Her diligence to her schoolwork has been a great example to me throughout college, and I have no doubt this diligence will take her far after she graduates.

Today, Kaitlyn travels across the pond to begin her summer abroad in Italy. I am so excited for her and can’t wait to see how she learns and grows through this incredible experience. Ciao bella, ti amo!
