Welcome!
Thanks for coming out today. You could’ve been anywhere in the world, but you’re here with me.
Seriously though, all Jay-Z references aside, I’m so glad you’re here- taking this next step forward with me. I appreciate you more than you know.
What better way to kick off the new website, than with a little food photography?
I made this chocolate bark for my friends for Valentine’s Day, and it was a hit! Just yesterday, one of them said “Carolyn, feel free to make that chocolate again anytime.”
Wanna know the best part? It’s really easy to make….
Only 3 ingredients involved: chocolate, roasted almonds, and coffee. Mix it all together and boom! Coffee + Roasted Almond Chocolate Bark awaits the attack of your sweet tooth.
Put it in a clear bag. Tie it with a pretty bow. Whip up a super simple tissue paper tassel, and you have instant treats fo’ yo’ friends.
Oh, and don’t limit yourself to just Valentine’s Day. Don’t make that mistake! These little babies would make lovely birthday, Easter, even Mother’s Day gifts. Trust me on this one.
Hope you have a sweet Tuesday my friends, and I hope to see you again soon!
Carolyn
Umm… that sounds delicious! 🙂
I’m the first comment on your new site?! Raise the roof. One day I will get to look back at this and feel like Michael Jordan’s high school friends did when they grew and realized they were friends with THE Michael Jordan. It will be awesome for me…and for you…because you will be the Michael Jordan of photography*.
So proud of you my friend and can’t wait to see all of the wonderful things that you accomplish and create in this life.

*Disclaimer: If you don’t end up being the Michael Jordan of photography, I will still think this and you are awesome. You know that. But just so you know.
Carolyn, I have been a VERY faithful blog fan of yours these past 2 1/2 years! I’ve told your mom many times how much I enjoy your pics and comments and feel so proud of you every time I’m on your blog. You are an amazing girl with a special talent, and I can’t wait to see where God takes you on this wonderful photography journey! You have also kept me connected by way of photos to one of the dearest families in the whole world….you Allens which I so greatly love more than you will ever know. Each picture is a treasure to me! So congrats to your new site! I will be a faithful fan to this one as well and will check in on a regular basis! Love and prayers!
I’ll spare you any pandering commentary about how wonderful you and your photography are (why waste words on the obvious)and rush straight to the point…is there any way I might be added to the list of ‘yo friends’the next time you’re handing out the chocolate bark?
Love the logo, the simple clean format of your new website. So proud of you Lina! P.S. I must not be one of “yo” friends 🙁
