A couple of weeks ago, I received a message on instagram asking if I was available for a last minute photoshoot in St. Teresa. School was about to start, and Paige wanted to capture the essence of her family’s summer vacation before they had to pack up and return home to Tallahassee — photographs to match the memories of her boys building sand castles and chasing frogs until the sun went down.
If you follow my personal account on instagram, you know I’m always up for an excuse to drive over to the Forgotten Coast (ex.1, ex. 2, ex.3), and I was even more intrigued by the lifestyle feel of this shoot! We started off with portraits in the sunroom and finished the session playing tag on the beach. My feet were covered in sand and my heart felt full, as I walked to my car to head back to Tallahassee.
As I crossed the bridge in Panacea, the sun dipped just below the horizon, and I thanked the Lord for a job that not only brings me joy but also helps people to remember some of the most joyous times of their lives!
