I love when couples select locations that are meaningful to them for their engagement photos. Mary Carson and Andrew chose Alligator Point, just 40 miles southwest of their home in Tallahassee. Mary Carson has fond memories of growing up visiting her family’s Alligator Point beach house and even fonder memories of the day 5 months prior when Andrew got down on one knee and popped the question. I met the two of them and their beloved black lab, Maggie, on a beautiful sunny afternoon in October. They wandered the beach, smiling at each other and throwing the ball for Maggie. I love that these images capture their season of anticipation and excitement leading up to the wedding in a location that means so much.
I can’t wait for another opportunity to photograph them at their Tallahassee wedding this Spring, in another meaningful location – Mary Carson’s parents backyard!
